ABS electronic Meiningen GmbH was founded June 1st 1998 and is now a professional full scope provider of Electronic Engineering and Manufacturing Services (E²MS). After just two years, production capacity had to be expanded because of the large number of customer orders received. The new production and administration building in the Meiningen-Dreissigacker industrial complex, with its cutting-edge technology, was opened on 02.01.2002. Annual investments of earned profits in leading edge equipment assure the technological advancement. 2008 ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR Andreas Oertel, managing director of ABS electronic Meiningen GmbH, has been elected the "2008 Entrepreneur of the Year" by the South Thuringian District Branch of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Business.
